Mission Statement
To provide our community with mental health outpatient counseling and rehabilitation programs in an approachable and responsive manner. We offer domestic violence classes, substance abuse treatment, substance abuse educational classes, and gambling evaluation and diagnostic. We use professional screening tools and qualified counselors to accomplish our goals of facilitating socially acceptable behavior and desirable objectives to any individual seeking help to empower his/her family, social, vocational, and professional life.
ABC Therapy, formally known as Associated Bilingual Counselors and Therapists was established by Dr. Julio C. Landero in 1995. Dr. Landero created this agency because he saw a necessity in the Hispanic community of Southern Nevada as well as in the court system for a bilingual/culturally sensitive agency that offered professional substance abuse and mental health treatment. The first office was opened in the Las Vegas area.
ABC Therapy's purpose is to provide complete outpatient services in the areas of mental health, chemical dependency, and domestic violence. Our services are mainly to the criminal justice system, but we also offer counseling to self-referred clients and are vendors for harmony healthcare which makes us able to take some private insurance like culinary, health plan of Nevada and United Healthcare.
